Beautiful illustrations and designs applied to everyday products including lampshades, cushions, fabric, greetings cards, gifts and prints. Alison draws her inspiration from the natural world and family events. Buy the perfect Christmas gift for the garden or sea lover in your life. Or ask Alison to create something special, bespoke orders and illustration commissions undertaken.
Working from her garden studio in Cornwall, Julia handmakes and hand decorates, porcelain mugs, jugs and bowls, together with handmade and hand painted collectable sculptures. Taking inspiration from her countryside surroundings, she decorates her work with carved textures and colourful pastel glazes.
Traditionally made leather goods, using heritage hand techniques to skillfully craft contemporary handbags, luggage and belts. Bespoke Leather has been working with leather for over 40 years and every item is lovingly produced from the finest leathers which are hand stitched for strength and longevity.

Call of the Ocean
Call of the Ocean creates coastal inspired eco-silver, gold, brass and enamelled jewellery. The pieces incorporate precious and semi-precious stones, pebbles and sea-glass bringing contemporary yet simple designs.
Clare Elizabeth Kilgour
Clare designs and makes simplistic jewellery for everyday wear using eco silver, brass, wood and botanical finds. Alongside her Jewellery collections, Clare has designed a small collection of air plant mobiles made from brass that have been inspired by the clean minimal lines within her jewellery collections.
Beautiful pottery handmade in Cornwall. A range of ceramic tableware influenced by the Cornish traditions of pottery and inspired by Cornish natural beauty, floral hedgerows, blue skies and white-crested waves. The pots are individually thrown and decorated on the potter’s wheel making each one unique.
Emporium of Illumination
Emporium of Illumination specialises in making and designing bespoke, made-by-hand, illuminations and lighting. They design their fabric in-house, source fabric from across the globe and treasure hunt vintage fabrics to make their lampshades. Each lamp base celebrates simple clean design which incorporates the use of sustainable raw materials or brings back to life vintage objects long forgotten.
Esme Cooper Design and Print
Esme is a textile designer based in Devon. She screenprints onto linen and cotton with dyes and makes the fabric into various items like table runners, napkins, cushions, lampshades and containers. Alongside the textile, she prints her own ceramic transfers and fires these onto British bone china mugs.
Esther makes hand-crafted automata, metalwork and jewellery. Her pieces are made in a combination of different metals including silver, patinated copper and brass with touches of enamel and recycled tin. She uses reclaimed wood or sections of coppiced branches to provide a base for her metal pieces. Esther’s inspiration comes from British wildlife and from poems, folktales and songs. A whimsical storytelling theme runs throughout.
fala studio will help you add a bohemian and rustic touch to your Christmas decor with handmade macrame Christmas decorations and gifts, including macrame Christmas trees, Christmas tree ornaments, table decorations, plant pot hangers, wall art, and DIY macrame kits. Designed and hand-knotted by Ola at her home in Cornwall.
Humble Cottage Designs is a contemporary homeware design company inspired by a modern response to life in Cornwall. Inspired by the landscapes and seascapes of Cornwall Humble Cottage have created a collection of homewares called Cornish Moderns utilising a fresh colour palette and influenced by Modernism. This collection includes coasters, bags, cushions and lampshades. Humble Cottage’s collection also includes a variety of original prints and cards, lightboxes and wooden postcards.
Jago is a multi-award-winning illustrator who creates his work entirely digitally from his home. Jago’s range includes high quality signed giclee prints of his illustrations as well as an expanding range of illustrated products, including stationery and homewares.
Kara and Dave are artists with a laser cutter, inspired by living in the country and by the sea (and their love of Christmas!). When kara designs and dave pushes the buttons, they call it CAC, Computer Aided Craft. It is handmade by machine; they are Digital Makers.
Made By Therapy
All of the Made By Therapy products are designed to bring a sense of wellness, whether this is the relaxing scent of an essential oil infused eco soy candle, or a nature-inspired print. Everything is design-led, hand-crafted and made with the intention of bringing happiness to your home and calm to your every-day.
All knits are handmade by Marissa on her vintage knitting machines in Pembrokeshire. Each collection has been made using quality 100% Merino Lambswool in contemporary designs which are felted to finish. Her sumptuous knitwear and bold colour palette extends into a range of cosy colourful hot water bottle covers and cushions.
Natalie Toms – Wildlife Artist
Natalie is a Cornish wildlife artist inspired by the woods, fields, hedgerows and rivers. Using a drawing technique known as stippling she creates detailed wildlife drawings on cold press watercolour paper. She sells her artwork as prints and cards, and she donates 5% from every sale to the Cornwall Wildlife Trust for their conservation work.
Pica Pica specialises in upcycled, bespoke jewellery with a minimal aesthetic. Crafted from found objects, old jewellery components and eco silver, each piece is completely unique and made by hand.
Rosalind Elunyd Jewellery
Jewellery designs inspired by nature and carved by hand. All Rosalind Elunyd jewellery is cast in sterling silver and then finished individually in order to create beautiful, animal inspired pieces that represent a true likeness of our favourite creatures from around the countryside. From buzzing bees to diving dolphins, sleeping hedgehogs to curious badgers – there’s something for everyone with an ever-expanding collection.
The Curious Sea
Kate of The Curious Sea is influenced by her seaside location recreating the life and motion of the sea in her own original style. Through a mixture of throwing and hand building using earthenware clay, Kate creates original ceramics inspired by the sea. Each piece is truly unique and a little quirky.
The Happy Fox
The Happy Fox is an eco t-shirt design company producing high quality 100% organic cotton t-shirts, sweatshirts and tote bags. The Happy Fox’s t-shirts are hand screen printed in Cornwall and are designed for free-range children and rebel women! Super soft cotton, fun slogans and affordable organic clothing.
With a Gypsy Soul Dreamcatchers
With A Gypsy Soul Dreamcatchers hand create bespoke, contemporary, one-off dreamcatchers and wall hangings for the contemporary home. In a palette of whites and neutrals inspired by the wide open spaces of the Cornish coastline. From the smallest catcher to send a loved one sweet dreams to huge, dramatic statement pieces for your home or venue.
A collection of unique handmade pieces and homespun wares at purse friendly prices. On the ground floor in the hotel’s Ballroom.
Annie Morris is the designer-maker behind the independent brand offering unique homewares and gifts. An exquisite range of hand and machine embroidered products including cushions, lampshades, tea towels, purses, cosmetics bags and greeting cards can be found alongside her collection of ‘make your own’ embroidery kits. Seasonal products such as Christmas decorations and fabulous reusable Christmas crackers will also be available.
Clara Kids clothing is designed and handmade by Alison Capeling in Cornwall. Boiled wool coats, linen dresses and dungarees all with comfort and simplicity in mind and made from beautiful quality natural fabrics for ages 2 – 9 years. Clara will also be selling their natural felt sewing kits, choose from a range of animal characters and a selection of stocking fillers.
Driftwood and Clay
Driftwood and Clay make gifts inspired by the wonderful landscape of the West Cornish coastline. They design all their pieces with sustainability in mind, creating new ways to recycle the objects which wash up on our shore, and combining them with other materials to make unique sculptures and jewellery.
Gill Flury designs and makes beautiful and functional storage and accessories for makers – the people who knit, sew, crochet, embroider, and generally love craft. Often utilizing and re-purposing materials in surprising ways, Gill combines vintage style with modern design to create a range of products to organise beautifully and display the tools and materials of the busy maker.
Going Loopy is an explosion of crochet colour! Sophie makes purses, bags, accessories and homeware which all demonstrate her passion for bright, sparkly neons using yarn, glitter and other textured fabrics.
Hogwash Soap is made in very small batches using the traditional hand whisking method. It is 100% natural, palm oil free, and vegan-friendly. Each bar is cut, stamped and wrapped in gorgeous FairTrade hand-printed paper. Hogwash has a complimentary bath and body range, including moisturizer, bath foam, washes, bath bombs, melts, bath scrubs and salts. All the products are free from ‘nasties’ SLS, SLES and parabens).
Hand felted woollen and hand painted wooden gifts and decorations.
Little Robin creates unique, bespoke hand-knits and accessories all lovingly hand-crafted by Tamsin. Using only the finest yarns in a rich colour palette, each piece aims to have a homespun finish ensuring a hand-knitted look and not machine perfection! Alongside her knitwear range for children, she has some pieces for adults, knitted jewellery, knitted decorations and cards.
Lizzie-May is an illustrator who loves to paint animals, beautiful botanicals, plants and characters using colourful gouache paints. Lizzie prints her illustrations on to a range of lovely paper and fabric goods.
Sally’s Shed hand paints buildings, street and harbour scenes on to reclaimed wood, orphaned china and other vintage bits and bobs. Sally’s Shed also creates story boxes out of ancient draws, boxes and tins, each telling its own individual story. For the festive season, Sally’s Shed captures the traditional Christmas scenery of glittery snow and decorated trees, which adorn Christmas scenes and tree decorations, alongside intricately painted Advent Calendars which are destined to become family heirlooms.
A range of quirky illustrated gifts and homewares all designed by windsweptgirlie in a little studio by the sea. Whale cushions and stuffed fish are just some of the unusual gifts you will find, along with beautiful Cornish inspired prints, coasters and tea towels for your home.

A chocolate kiss is a delicious light, flavoured mallow. Served in a waffle base, and covered in a variety of milk, white and dark chocolate. Suitable for vegetarians and at only 70 calories… you can’t resist a kiss!!
The Bearded Brewery
The Bearded Brewery are cider makers with a micro brewery producing small batches of artisan ciders and tipples.
Buttermilk Confections Limited

Lin Lovekin Baskets
Lin is a professional basketmaker who makes a wide variety of high-quality willow baskets for shopping, foraging, the kitchen, fireside and garden as well as sustainable Christmas decorations and gifts. She grows and hand harvests her own willow to create richly coloured baskets with their own distinctive character, shape and style.
Sarah Drew Jewellery
Colourful statement jewellery made from found sea-plastic, sea-glass, driftwood and sea-string combined with handmade eco-silver and brass chains and chunky semi-precious stones. Large sustainable stones such as boulder opal and Cornish aquamarine set in eco-silver and recycled gold for strong rings, earrings and pendants.
The Nature of Paper
Taking inspiration from nature, Pam works with different types of paper to recreate flora and fauna, from tiny insects to entire walls of flowers. Each item is individually crafted using small scale production techniques and lots of lovely paper of course, sometimes with a bit of fun and quirkiness thrown in for good measure.
Join our makers to peruse their wares and drop in to take part in a workshop. Spend some time getting festive and create something lovely to take home with you.
Running all day from 10am to 4pm on Saturday or Sunday, no need to book.
Each make will take between 30 and 60 minutes and is suitable for complete beginners.
