It's a dog's life

Dog Friendly Stays

At Bedruthan - the friendliest of dog-friendly hotels in Cornwall, your loyal companion can get the rest they deserve.

We have various dog-friendly rooms to choose from but please reach out to our reservations team before booking to ensure we can accommodate your furry friend. Bedruthan accepts small to medium dogs and we recommend booking early, as there is a limited number of spots available. Please note that there is a supplement of £25 per dog per night. We will provide your ‘best friend’ with a dog bed, treats and water bowls, feeding mat and towels for sandy paws.

We kindly ask that dogs stay on leads when moving around the hotel and near any shared spaces. Our pools and children’s play areas are kept just for humans. Mawgan Porth beach is dog-friendly all year round so your pup can make a splash in the waves.

Dogs are welcome in our cocktail bar, Ballroom, Ogo and the Wild Café; just be sure to keep them on leads and let them lounge on their own cosy dog beds rather than our furniture. While our human beds may look inviting, we ask that your four-legged friend sticks to the comfy dog beds we provide.

Guests can dine with their dogs in both the Wild Café and at Ogo. Please pre-book a dog-friendly table by contacting our restaurant team at 01637 861 212. Please note that Ogo has a limited number of dog-friendly tables available.

Explore

Local Attractions

We’ve teamed up with Eden Project, a place where giant biomes meet bold ideas, and nature takes centre stage. It’s a natural fit. Like us, they’re all about connecting people to the environment in ways that feel inspiring, not overwhelming. As a Bedruthan guest, you’ll enjoy an exclusive discount on entry during your stay. So whether you’re wandering through rainforest canopies or pausing in the Mediterranean gardens, it’s all there to explore, just a stone's throw from out coastal outpost. Your discount code can be found in your booking confirmation and you can book tickets online here.

Another great attraction we've partnered with is the Cornish Seal Sanctuary. The Sea Life Trust rescues and rehabilitates around 70 seal pups per season, as well as having puffins, paddock animals and beavers. It's a great day out for the whole family, with interactive learning, live feeding and lots to do! Grab a flier from reception on your way for a 20% discount on your tickets.

Other great local attractions include Tintagel Castle, an atmospheric castle on the cliffs, shrouded in ancient folk lore. Prince Arthur was thought to have been conceived here! Padstow Sealife Safaris offer daily trips, where you can spot anything from dolphins and jellyfish to basking sharks and whales.

We have some wonderful National Trust Properties near us, with Lanhydrock House, a magnificent Victorian country house with gardens and wooded estate and Trelissick, an estate set in Feock with maritime views, beautiful gardens and an 1800's house.
