Come and find out why we were voted the top hotel for families by The Sunday Times and best UK accommodation at the Family Traveller Awards in 2015…

The days are lengthening now and more sunshine in Cornwall’s mild climate means more time to spend outdoors, exploring the beaches and coastline of the stunning North Coast. Spring comes early this far south, and, as the headlands get greener, it’s the perfect time to explore.

May may well be in Spring, but it often feels like summer here in Cornwall. With the coastline scattered with Spring wildflowers and the sea warming up, May is definitely a stunning time to visit Cornwall. During the half term, we offer free surf lessons for kids as part of our entertainment programme and as many outdoor activities as we can muster, which is usually a lot.

Bedruthan has been welcoming families for their summer holidays for more than 60 years, so we like to give your stay a bit of a classic seaside feel with traditional favourites like a Punch and Judy show, and our handpainted head-in-a-hole photo competition.

Autumn brings golden colours to the landscape, and pink, misty mornings make it a beautiful time of year to visit. With a nod to the harvest that’s happening all around the county, our team likes to throw Wassail parties for our guests.

Every December a special someone dressed in red pays a visit to Bedruthan… We have festive packages to suite everyone across Christmas, Twixmas and New Year.

Wrap up warm and make the most of the day with February Half Term at Bedruthan. Discover quiet beaches, escape the crowds and queues and enjoy Cornwall to yourselves. Perfect for storm-watching, kite flying, puddle jumping, exploring the Camel Trail and damning the stream on Mawgan Porth beach…

There are some hotels that are more like havens for new parents...Bedruthan Hotel &
Spa in Mawgan Porth, Cornwall, is one such place.

The Bedruthan would be lovely almost anywhere - but this is Mawgan Porth, so you have the beach on your doorstep and some of the most bewitching sunsets in England. It's almost perfect.

Have you ever been somewhere that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled across a really well-kept secret? Bedruthan Hotel and Spa in Cornwall’s Mawgan Porth is that place for me.

As soon as we arrived at Beduthan it was clear that it was going to be impossible not to relax. The views of the sea waves crashing together from most of the many windows inside the hotel make you feel instantly calm, but it's also the way the staff working at the hotel make you feel; they go out of their way to let you know that nothing is ever too much trouble.
