The natural beauty of Cornwall transforms with the seasons, from blissfully quiet Autumn and Winter with the occasional dramatic sea storm, to the magical re-awakening of Springtime.

Spring

Spring always comes early to Cornwall. From late February, our famous magnolias begin to bloom, the weather warms up and the sea turns a startling turquoise. Time to get outside, breathe fresh air, wander the coast path and marvel at the wild flowers.

Summer Holidays

Bedruthan has been welcoming families for summer holidays for over 60 years and we like to give it a slight “classic seaside” theme with favourites like Punch and Judy and our hand painted head-in-a-hole photo competition.

For grown ups, we create evening pop-up foodie events in our poolside Lanai Lounge, from alfresco mussel and cider nights to hog roasts.

October Half Term

Autumn brings golden colours to the landscape and pink, misty mornings make it a beautiful time of year. With a nod to the harvest that’s happening all around the County, our team like to throw some Wassail parties for our guests.

There’s still a packed programme of activities

February Half Term

Wrap up warm and make the most of the ever-longer days with a family February Half Term. Discover quiet beaches, escape the crowds and queues and have Cornwall to yourself. Perfect for storm-watching, kite flying, puddle jumping, exploring the Camel Trail and damning the stream on Mawgan Porth beach…

Why not take advantage of our two hours free childcare and spend some time relaxing in our thermal spa? Immerse yourself in our giant hydropool and watch the waves crash below.

Easter

The days are lengthening and more sunshine in Cornwall’s mild climate means more time to spend outdoors, exploring the beaches and coastline of the stunning North Coast. Spring comes early this far south and as the headlands get greener it’s the perfect time to explore.

Why not spend some time in our Sensory Spa Garden – an outdoor experience with exfoliating scrubs, a cedar wood sauna, hot tubs and cold bucket drenches.
