Our Spring Fair is back this March featuring some of the most talented designers and makers from around the South West. Over 50 stalls to browse including homewares, decor, contemporary crafts, plants, gardenalia, fashion, accessories, beauty and food and drink – there really is something for everyone. Come along and get some ideas of how to refresh your home, garden and you this spring.

Saturday 23rd- Sunday 24th March 2019 – 10am-4pm – £1 on the door

During the fair, there will be no parking available at the hotel. We recommend parking in Mawgan Porth beach car park and taking the free Newquay Lions shuttle bus that will go between the car park and the hotel during the fair.

There is a £1 entry charge for adults payable on the door and kids go free! This door charge covers a charitable donation to the Mawgan Porth Village Hall and the Newquay Lions.

Located on the first floor just inside the main event entrance this is the destination for the very best in contemporary design and curated classic furniture, lighting and homewares from Cornwall and beyond.

Alison Bick Design

Each one of Alison Bick’s surface designs has a little story behind it, whether it is her family’s surfing heritage in Cornwall, knitted swimsuits and flowery bathing hats, or her families love of gardening, plants, birds, flowers, foraging and nature. Alison’s illustrations start off as pen and ink, watercolour or gouache paints, which are then created as digital illustrations which can be applied to any surface, whether it is a cushion, lampshade, pocket mirror, paper or fabric.

Cord Industries

Based in Cornwall, Cord Industries work closely with a select few local suppliers to produce a range of furniture pieces that serve as a call to arms against the cheap materials and poor construction that dominate self-assembly furniture. They are exhibiting their range of stools, benches, tables and desks.

Dolly Daydream

Dolly Daydream has a wide range of beautiful, vintage stock, sourced from all over the country. From quirky to stunningly pretty, there is something for everyone. A great way to add some vintage style to your home with pieces no-one else will have including kitchenalia, china, fabrics, pictures, cushions, curtains and more.

Everyday Life Collectables

Everyday Life Collectables are exhibiting a selection of Mid-Century Modern Scandinavian, English and Cornish ceramics, furniture, household goods and decorative items.

Esme Cooper Design and Print

Living in Mid Devon has given Esme access to such varied landscapes from which to gather inspiration to create her range of table runners, cushions, mugs and notebooks. She has been a textile screen printer for many years and the process of mixing ink, pulling the squeegee and lifting the screen to reveal the image is one which will always be magical to her.


Fabric.Paper.Scissors love all things mid-century, retro and colourful! Collecting original materials from all over the UK, Europe, Scandinavia and the U.S. they use them to create a unique, handcrafted collection of colourful, fun, vintage and retro inspired home furnishings and gifts.

House by Hazel

Working in her Cornish studio, Hazel takes a uniquely flamboyant visual approach to classic coastal iconography and the flora and fauna found throughout Cornwall. She creates visually contemporary homewares in a bold maximalist style. All design work is sketched, coloured and composed by Hazel, printed in the UK onto the highest quality upholstery grade fabrics and made into soft furnishings in Cornwall. Creating work that is both equally matched in quality, design, materials and craftsmanship.

HumbleCottage Designs

HumbleCottage designs homeware inspired by a modern response to life in Cornwall. Responding to winter walks, hedgerows and a strong sense of colour, homeware products including lightboxes, prints and cushions are created to give you an original piece of work for your home.

Jago Illustration

Jago is an award-winning, multi-million selling children’s book illustrator living and working in North Cornwall. He sells framed and unframed signed Giclee prints of his book illustrations as well as a huge number of other designs. He continues to expand his range of products that now include illustrated stationery, pocket mirrors, magnets and badges. More recently he has added laser etched enamel mugs, aluminium water bottles and screen printed tea towels to the range.

Kitsch Attic

Founded in beautiful Cornwall in the UK, Kitsch Attic has been bringing unique, quirky and stylish homewares to those in the know since 2011. Their products and designs are born of a desire to offer their customers something they could never find on the high street. They have a fantastic range of products to choose from, some are playful some are elegant and some are just weird…

Lou Tonkin – Printmaker

Nature inspired printmaker Lou Tonkin works with relief block prints to create homeware products and limited edition prints. Lou takes her inspiration almost exclusively from nature, wandering lanes and footpaths around the Cornish coast and sketching in one of her many sketchbooks. These sketches then get drawn into lino block print designs which are used for both limited edition prints or for an accessible and beautiful range of useful products for around the home.

Pick Pretty Paints

Pick Pretty Paints is a print studio based in the heart of St. Ives Cornwall at The Sloop Craft Market. Textile Artist Erin Lacy has been producing prints and textiles while developing her own hand mixed printing paints. From a printing beginner to professional the paints can be used for all printing methods from fabric, screen, stencils and stamps. The paints are all hand mixed and can be used for a number of multi textile surfaces. From paper, fabric, wood and any matt surface. The print stand will give you a chance to create your own patterns and prints leaving your mark all over the place!


Reworked create original and eclectic lighting and lamps upcycled and created from salvaged materials.

Stockings Baker Design

Stockings Baker Design are inspired by simple and contemporary design. Each piece of furniture and lighting is hand-crafted in their Cornish workshop using traditional methods of blacksmithing and fabrication. Clean lines and sensitivity to form mean that the materials shine through. They make high-quality sculptural furniture, log rings and bespoke sculptures. Their philosophy is to create beautiful designs that stand the test of time.

Studio Haran

Joel and Helena Haran are a husband and wife team based in the beautiful Cornish countryside. They have been working as a partnership since June 2014, starting Studio Haran whilst studying Sustainable Product Design at Falmouth University. Their vision is to design and craft beautiful pieces for your home or business that are expertly designed and honestly crafted using quality materials.

Ace Vintage Cornwall

Ace Vintage Cornwall are dealers in all things vintage: interior homewares, lighting, small furniture, art, mirrors, antiques and collectables, art deco, vintage and retro, the quirky and unusual.

After studying for a diploma in art and design at Falmouth University as a mature student, Julia discovered a love of ceramics. Now working from her garden studio in Cornwall, and taking inspiration from her garden surroundings, Julia hand throws porcelain mugs, cups, jugs and vases and hand makes and decorates small collectable animal sculptures.

Seawitch Candles

Taking their inspiration from the stunning coastline where they live, Seawitch Candles have created a collection of soy wax candles & scented reed diffusers in 15 scents. All of their products are handmade in Cornwall.

Joey Anna Textiles

Established in 2016, Joey Anna is a surface pattern and textile design company based in Cornwall. Every design by Joey starts life as a hand drawn motif, which are then used to digitally create repeat designs which are inspired by a love of Nature, Scandinavian style and mid-century design. Joey’s contemporary and unique designs capture all of these attributes.


On the ground floor opposite the hotel’s shop and gallery with unique finishing touches to adorn yourself and your home, like jewellery and fashion accessories and home decor.

Anne Roderick Illustrations

Anne is a self-taught illustrator who takes her inspiration from the wildlife of Cornwall. She specialises in hand-drawn ink and pencil drawings of birds and can often be found wandering the country lanes scouting for botanicals and birdsong. Her range includes prints, cards, notebooks, coasters, tea towels and tote bags.

Call of the Ocean

Call of the Ocean creates coastal inspired eco-silver, gold, brass and enamelled jewellery. The pieces incorporate precious and semi-precious stones, Pebbles and sea glass bringing contemporary yet simple designs.

Annie Morris

The embroidery and homewares label named Annie Morris is a family run business born out of a love for well designed and beautifully crafted products. Sumptuous cushions, lampshades and accessories are individually handcrafted in the studio from both new and reclaimed fabrics. These unique homewares can be found alongside an exquisite range of hand & machine embroidered artwork and handmade cards. You will also find downloadable designs, kits and haberdashery products for you to make your own creations.

Pascale Studios

Pascale Studios specialises in illustrated paper stationery, prints, wrap and cards inspired by nature, travel, animals and the coast.

Rosalind Elunyd Jewellery

All Rosalind Elunyd designs are carved by hand in Cornwall, before being cast in sterling silver and then finished individually in silver, gold or rose gold order to create beautiful animal inspired pieces that represent a true likeness of our favourite creatures from around the countryside.

Rocke and Nutter

Rocke and Nutter hand make brilliant and stylish bags from up-cycled sails, horse reins and hi – vis jackets. Their range is unisex and practical and includes botttle bags, pouches, totes and the ever popular oversized beach bag or shopper. Designed and handmade in Cornwall.

Sarah Drew Jewellery

Colourful statement jewellery made from found sea-plastic, sea-glass, driftwood and sea-string combined with handmade eco-silver and brass chains and chunky semi-precious stones. Large sustainable stones such as boulder opal and Cornish aquamarine set in eco-silver and recycled gold for strong rings, earrings and pendants.

Alison Dupernex

Alison Dupernex knits using cashmere, silk and Donegal wool. The completed work is intricate with 20 plus colours, slip and tucked stitches. Recently she has been experimenting by mixing fibres which felt firmly with those which are resistant to gain more colour depth and tactile interest for the interiors and clothing collections.

Soap Daze

Soap Daze is a small business run by Sharon Mitchell from her garden workshop in Devon. They make wholesome, handcrafted, small batch, quality soaps and skin care products that are honest, have simple ingredients, and are kind to your skin and the environment. All products are vegan and palm oil free. Using plant oils, botanicals, essential oils, herbs and spices, all Soap Daze products are 100% natural and preservative free.

Sally’s Shed

Sally’s Shed started life at the home of Sally Atkins in Lichfield, Staffordshire. In the beginning, Sally painted just on reclaimed wood such as old floorboards, fence panelling or builders offcuts, with everything created in the Shed at the bottom of the garden. Now living and working in Cornwall the Shed has come indoors and wood is not the only media she works in. Vintage china, tins, boxes and drawers have all been transformed into new colourful pieces all with the running theme of buildings, now heavily influenced by her new Cornish surroundings.

Teresa Dunne Woven Textiles

After studying Textile Practices, Teresa became interested in wool and decided to explore weaving. After buying a preloved four shaft floor loom, Teresa started experimenting and practising on the loom. This has led her to create a vibrant collection of woven scarves and cushions which will bring a smile to your face. Teresa enjoys the slow but meditative process of warping, dressing the loom and weaving lengths of woven cloth as a therapeutic experience.

Wading Bird

Wading Bird creates handmade leather and textile purses, pouches, clutches, totes and cross body bags in Cornwall.


On the lower ground floor, first right down the stairs after reception and follow the corridor to find an array of food & drink, fashion, outdoor living and lifestyle inspiration.

Blossom Clothing Cornwall

Blossom Clothing Cornwall is a small business based near Padstow in Cornwall. Their designs are relaxed, casual and stylish in natural fibres like silk and cotton, to fit women with real bodies! They have a passion for colour and handpick unusual fabrics so their customers get unique handmade designs.

Carl Austin Furniture

Carl designs and makes outdoor furniture using methods and materials that are inspired by traditional wooden boat building techniques. His chairs are bespoke made of steam bent and laminated oak and larch and all fastenings are copper and bronze.

Clare Elizabeth Kilgour Flowers

Clare is a freelance floral designer based in Devon. She creates bespoke floral posies and arrangements alongside a range of geo-inspired hanging planters. She uses locally sourced British grown flowers whenever possible.

Ebb Flow Cornwall

Inspired by life on the Cornish coast, Ebb Flow source beautiful hammam towels and ponchos direct from the Turkish loom. Their products are 100% cotton and artisan made in bright colours. They are practical and perfect for spirited outdoor living.

Love & Honor Limited

Based in St Agnes Love & Honor make cool clothes for hip kids. Love & Honor is a fun, sustainable children’s clothing brand based with a surf, love and rock n roll vibe. Organic baby bodies have surfer and Hawaiian inspired prints, soft sweatshirts and slogan tees mix and match with denim shorts and playsuits. The UPF50+ Good Swimmers range of swimwear is made with regenerated ghost fishing nets, making them as ethical as they are beautiful.

Ruby Cubes

Ruby Cubes is the bold, thoughtful lifestyle brand of textile artist Jessica Geach. Jessica works from her home studio in Dartmoor, Devon and uses an old industrial machine to stitch together her favourite material of unbleached cotton cord, to create a collection of tactile homewares. Her baskets, bowls, hanging planters & bags are designed for form and function and can find a place in any home.

Beauty Kubes

Beauty Kubes is a unique new beauty concept that does not require any plastic packaging. They have a range of ultra-gentle, natural and organic, sulphate-free shampoos, and a hair and body wash for men with a range of skincare coming soon. With no plastic packaging and products that 100% cruelty free and suitable for vegans this is guilt free pampering.

fala studio

fala studio features modern macrame home decor including wall hangings, plant hangers, lamp shades and table runners. All pieces are handmade in Cornwall by Ola using cotton rope, wood and brass and make the perfect addition to your home or outdoor space.

The Happi Empire

The Happi Empire is on a playful mission to help you create inner happiness, using self-care, mindfulness and positivity. Bearded Brewery

Locally based, The Bearded Brewery have a microbrewery, bottle shop and will be selling their delicious Cornish Cider.

Sunset Brewing Company

Exceptional beers made by connoisseurs, for connoisseurs. Sunset Brewings beers are produced with precision and purpose in a pocket-sized brewery in Cornwall. Toro Studio
