Join us on our sea view meadow for an evening of family friendly fun. Bring something to sit on and something warm as our story may take a while to tell! We'll have a bbq full of tasty treats and bakery snacks for you to enjoy and the bar will be fully stocked for our older guests.

It’s pirate ships, pieces of eight and salty old sea dogs in Quantum Theatre’s swashbuckling new adaptation of the classic pirate adventure, Treasure Island.

From the moment young Jim Hawkins stumbles upon a treasure map at the Admiral Benbow Inn he finds himself embroiled in the murky underworld of pirates - and soon he is on the high seas in search of the pirate hoard. But once aboard the Hispaniola, Jim becomes only too aware that he is not the only one who knows of the map's existence..

Need to knows:

Food and drink will be served from 1pm, however please feel free to bring your own
Tickets are non-refundable. However, should the performance be unable to take place due to bad weather, your ticket will be fully refunded
Seating is not provided. Make sure you bring a blanket or chair to sit on, weather-appropriate gear (fingers crossed for sunshine) and a picnic, as the tale could take some time to tell, and storytelling can be hungry work!
Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times
Children must be accompanied by an adult
Please note: there is no parking available on site. Please park at Mawgan Porth Beach Car Park (Sat Nav: TR8 4BA) and walk up to the hotel via the entrance on Tredragon Road or along the coastal path. Drop off is possible, although please be aware that Tredragon Road is narrow and mainly residential.
