We believe that what you drink should be just as much of an experience as what you eat. We create all of our own syrups, cordials and most of our liqueurs, infusions, tonics, tinctures & bitters using seasonal, local produce.

Here is just a  taster of some of our favourite cocktails that we serve in the bar from 7pm. During the day you can enjoy freshly made cakes and Origin coffee, Luscombe soft drinks, beers and Ales from Skinner brewery in Truro.

We use a homemade butter & toffee popcorn syrup with a blend of Chairman’s reserve spiced & Skipper rums, homemade apple & vanilla molasses, Madagascan vanilla liqueur, house Xocolatl & Chipotle bitters & a few drops of Aztec chocolate bitters with house spiced ginger bitters all stirred over ice & served with a side of caramel popcorn.

The third man in the trilogy of drinks known as the “Occidentals” (find the others in our bar bible) this spicy number muddles fresh chilli with plenty of lime, coriander, lemongrass, ginger and lime syrup with lashings of Portobello Gin all churned over crushed ice. Extremely refreshing but not for the faint hearted!

A bolt of refreshment combining a heady mix of Berneroy XO Calvados, sauvignon blanc, Pisco Aba and St Germain elderflower liqueur with fresh lemon & lime juice, egg white and a homemade Bramley apple syrup, all finished off with as dash of club soda.


Frozen cubes of clarified, fresh strawberry juice are shaken with Ketel 1 vodka, St Germain elderflower liqueur, fresh lemon, cranberry juice and a dash of simple syrup to create this lady’s favourite. Finished with a crack of fresh ground black pepper and a strawberry on the side.

A zingy blast of a cocktail blended from Portobello Rd gin, Cointreau, fresh lemon and Red Stuff Seville Orange Marmalade, shaken until frosty cold and served in a chilled martini glass. In the words of the legendary barkeep Harry Craddock, “quaff it while it’s smiling at you and enjoy the sunshine.”

This refreshing drink takes 100% organic blue agave blanco Arette Tequila from Jalisco in Mexico and blends it with lashings of fresh lime, agave sec, egg white and a homemade lemongrass, chilli, ginger & lime syrup served rimmed with a homemade lemon sherbet sour mix with popping candy.
