We'd like to think that after all this time we have perfected our family experience for guests staying with us as well as for those who are not. We understand the importance of having fun together but also the need to have a little time to yourself. Our team on site have developed an array of family experiences that hopefully ticks all of the boxes you need for a restful break or day out.

Our colourful, Cornish hotel has multiple types of family rooms. Each has buckets of space, natural light in spades. Choose either a spacious sea view room, sea view villa or large apartment room.
Under 5s
The Play Space Creche
We understand that sometimes grown-ups may want some time just to themselves. Our Play Space Creche has been created with that in mind.
Here at the Play Space you can book your children under 5 on to a two hour session with our wonderful creche team. Our emphasis is on the fun whilst sneakily encouraging their learning and developmental growth through child led exploration. We will play, create, sing, dance and wind down with some wonderful stories. Your children will be in the safe hands of our Enhanced DBS team and you will have some much needed time to relax and unwind … after-all you are all on holiday!
Our creche is only available to guests who are staying with us or booked on for a spa day.

Crafting
Family arts and crafts
We have an exciting daily programme of workshops, classes and artist-led sessions. For families, these events help at getting everyone involved. Do something different together and learn something new. On our schedule you'll find messy play, canvas painting, lino printing, clay coiled pots and more. Our focus is on having fun and creating memories. All crafts can be booked online.
School Holidays
Kids clubs
You will never be stuck for activities for the children during the school holidays at Bedruthan. Alongside our daily crafting we also have our Kids Clubs. These have been designed to give you a little adult time to your self and are open to guests and locals alike. Our Kids Club runs daily throughout school holidays and are bookable online. Our kids clubs are designed for children over 5 years old.
Your children will be in the safe hands of our Enhanced DBS checked team. However grown-ups are more than welcome to attend should they wish.
Entertainment
School Holiday Evening Entertainment
Throughout the school holidays we have a programme of evening entertainment to keep the kids occupied whilst adults enjoy a drink at the bar. On our entertainment schedule you'll find silent discos, quiz nights, story telling, crafting and more.

Playtime
Play, swim and explore
Bedruthan is home to Jungle Tumble, our very own soft play area, the perfect place for children to burn off some energy on rainy days. We even have sofas for grown ups, so you can chill out while the kiddies entertain themselves. Jungle Tumble is included in your stay if you are an overnight hotel guest. And don’t forget about our indoor and outdoor swimming pools and tennis courts - adventure’s only ever a quick sprint away. On drizzly days, retreat to our indoor cinema room for family classics or challenge each other with the games console, or simply hunker down together with blankets, hot chocolates and board games.
Food & Drink
Fabulous food for peckish people
Our clifftop kitchen always prefers to cook from scratch; Summer squash curries, thickly-crusted pies and bright seasonal salads. We love the kind of natural, nourishing cooking that gives little legs the energy to go again. You’ll also find plenty of sturdy high chairs to borrow, alongside a strong stock of unbreakable plastic bowls, cups and cutlery. With a hearty artisan bakery breakfast, there is something to fill all tummies before a morning of fun-filled memory making.
From 9.30am daily our bakery opens, serving up cakes, pastries, sarnies, coffees, milkshakes and more. Perfect for refueling before the next adventure.
From 2pm we have afternoon tea, including a perfectly sized kids tea.
Our Wild Cafe opens for dinner at 5pm.
Spa
Family Sensory Spa Garden
Our younger hotel guests can now make use of the Sensory Spa Garden, with family time in the Sensory Spa Garden each day at 10 - 10.30am or 4 - 4.30pm. Families can book to spend time in the Spa Garden by heading to the spa desk on the day.
Family time in the Sensory Spa Garden is £10 per person. The experience lasts 30 minutes and is strictly subject to availability.
The Family Sensory Spa Garden is suitable for children aged 8 - 15 years old.
Please note that Family Sensory Spa Garden is only available during school holidays and selected dates. Our Family Sensory Spa Garden is only available to overnight hotel guests.
Explore
A Natural Playground
From here, the wide Mawgan Porth beach is just a short stroll down a sandy path away. Discover rock pools or learn to surf with our friends at Kingsurf. From there you’ll soon come across the South West Coast Path - ramble north for Bedruthan Steps, Booby’s Bay and the lighthouse at Trevose Head, or go south to Watergate Bay and Newquay. And just around the corner is Carnewas, a Dark Sky Discovery Site perfect for evening stargazing with budding astronauts.
And when you return back up the hill, you’ll find plenty more to do.

Kids Crafty Parties
Did you know we do crafty parties for children? Our creative coastal outpost is ready to host your kids party, with crafts for all ages.
With crafts, playtime and a special party tea, our talented Create team will be on hand to help make the day special and teach little ones something new, such as painting, working with clay or tie dye. We can also create something bespoke to suit your child's creative interests.
