Pottery One Day Workshop & Half Day Glazing Session
22nd October at 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
One event on 12 November, 2017 at 10:00am
Pottery Workshop: Sunday 22nd October, 10am – 5pm
Come along and have a go in our new pottery studio and experience the delights of working with clay in an amazing setting.
During the day we will be hand building. We will focus on pinch pots and coil pots, however some soft slab work can be incorporated. By the end of the day you will have produced a finished decorated coil pot and some smaller decorated pots.
The pots will be left at the studio to dry and to be fired, this takes up to three weeks depending on the drying speed.
Your Tutor, Heather, will be on hand to help and advise, Holly, our in house technician is also available during the workshops.
The course is suitable for beginners or those with some experience.
Refreshments and a soup lunch is included.
Glazing Session: Sunday 12th November, 10am – 2pm
After the first firing, we will run a half day glazing session, during which we add the coloured surface to the pot and have a final firing. Your pots will then be ready for collection one week later.
Refreshments and a soup lunch is also included as part as part of both days.
Postage is available at your own risk and at additional cost.
