Festive Flower and Driftwood Creations Workshop
28th November at 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm£45
Kerry from Rarecreation is an experienced teacher in interior design, decoration and floristry, and runs a beautiful flower farm a stones’ throw away from the hotel in nearby St Eval. On this unique workshop you’ll collect a selection of items that inspire you from her gardens, hedgerows and from nearby beaches – but you’re also welcome to bring any additional items with you to reuse and recycle.
Kerry will give you tips and tricks about creating floral pieces and how to combine colour and texture for different effects, including information about flower preservation and how to add different items in the future.
In this evening workshop you’ll then select willow and driftwood to begin creating festive wreaths and/or table decorations, using wire and string to support the structures. You can be really creative using a mixture of different materials, with no limits to your imagination!
This is the perfect evening for beginning your festive preparations, you can create a beautiful gift for someone, or keep it to decorate your own table, whilst gathering knowledge and inspiration to continue making beautiful festive decorations.
