Falmouth Spring Festival

Spring comes earliest to Cornwall – with daffodils flowering over Christmas, and the first magnolia flowers unfurling as early as January. Visit Falmouth throughout March to celebrate this explosion of colour with a variety of events happening throughout the town.
Festival Activities include:
Thurs 10 Mar Paint The Town Yellow Day
The town becomes ablaze with yellow in preparation for the Festival as local schoolchildren and interior design students from the Falmouth University, brighten up nearly 100 shop windows with thousands of daffodils and decorations.
Sat 19 Mar – Games on The Moor
A lovely free event for families. There will be a variety of games such as giant jenga, giant Connect 4, snakes and ladders, climbing wall, quiots, swing ball, badminton and hula hoops for you to try out. Venue: The Moor Time: 11am-4pm. Price: FREE
Sat 19 & Sun 20 Mar – Spring Flower Show
An institution in Falmouth for over 100 years, expect to see rare and exotic flora and fauna on display, specialists plants, a photography competition and more. Venue: Princess Pavilion. Price: Adults £3.00, children (under 16yrs) FREE.
Sat 26 to Mon 28 Mar – Folk & Cider Fayre
A great range of bands throughout the three days, all washed down with 50 scrumptious ciders from across the West Country. Events Square will also host a marquee full of food and craft stalls.

Photographic history of daffodil growers from the Isles of Scilly, Penzance and Falmouth areas. Daffodil floral arrangements and a display of gardening books in the Falmouth Library.
