6 Week Printmaking Course – Thursdays 6:30pm – 9pm

An event every week that begins at 7:30pm on Thursday, repeating until 14 April, 2016
Take part in this fun and experimental 6-week course exploring a range printing processes. You will learn how to create a series of printed cards, gift tags, fabric and paper prints. Focusing on mark making, printing with raw material (ie: flowers, leaves etc) block printing and screen-printing onto tote bags.
Dena O’Brien will deliver demonstrations and guidance throughout the course.
Refreshments are also included.
Level: The course is suitable for beginners and those with basic screen printing knowledge

Make: A hand cut stencil, screen and a range of prints on paper and fabric
Price: £210 for six evening workshops including all materials and refreshments
What to bring: old clothing, an apron or old shirt, suitable footwear, notebook, pencil, rubber, craft knife or scalpel, visual ideas to help create your design (photographs, books, patterns, sketchbooks, magazines). Also feel free to bring along any papers or fabric to print onto. Please ensure these are flat surfaces and cut down to A4.
Please note – This workshop requires a minimum of 6 people in order to run. If minimum numbers are not met 7 days prior to the date of the workshop it will be cancelled and you will be offered a refund or a choice of alternative dates.
