You’ll find Bedruthan – with its cliff top setting, spectacular sea views, crackling log fires, luxurious rooms, acclaimed spa and award-winning food – a magical place to spend the turn of the year.

It’s lovely, when you get here on the 30th, to sink into one of our comfy sofas and just relax with the view. Warm yourself up by the fire awhile, watch the waves running up Mawgan Porth Beach and we’ll serve you afternoon tea.

And don’t worry about the children. We understand that kids often need to run wild after a long journey, so we’ll have plenty of burn-off-steam activities at the ready for them for when you get here.

We love the building sense of excitement on New Year’s Eve as more guests begin to arrive. There’s lots of lovely bustle going on around the hotel as everyone gets ready for the evening celebrations. We love to dress up, and love seeing our guests in their party clothes too.

We like you to be able to choose how you celebrate New Year with us, so we offer family-friendly celebrations, a black tie affair for grown-ups and a relaxed-yet-sophisticated option too.

The best thing about our New Year for parents is that you can celebrate as a family and/or take advantage of our free kids club sessions and join the glamorous grown-up celebrations too.

How every you choose to celebrate, everyone is welcome to enjoy our New Year’s Eve party in The Ballroom. This year’s live music is from our funk-soul favourites, The Brenthouse Band. And make sure you join us at midnight, as there’s nothing quite like watching fireworks light up the sky over the ocean.

Lie in as long as you like on New Year’s Day. Mums and dads can enjoy a lie-in too, thanks to our children’s team who will come and collect early-rising children from your room at 8am and whisk them away for a few hours.

A brisk New Year’s Day walk along the coast path is a wonderful way to meet the new year. We like to make our resolutions on our New Year’s Day stroll. There’s something about walking, thinking and talking: the three things seem to be made to go together.

Happy New Year everyone! Wishing you a healthy, happy 2015.
