At Bedruthan we are passionate about our sustainable food sources and so we love the initiative set up and run by the National Lobster Hatchery, aptly named “buy one, set one free.” For every lobster we sell, we offer our guests the opportunity to make a small donation which we match. This funds their amazing work rearing and releasing baby lobster to protect the stocks and sustain the species.
Our Herring chef, Darren Millgate, caught up with the Hatchery MD Domonic Boothroyd to present our donation cheque this afternoon.
