Between Friday 11 June and Sunday 13 June, the G7 Summit will be taking place right here in Cornwall. We are immensely proud that our county is playing host to this major event, and the world leaders in attendance.
Whilst we aren’t too close to the event location of Carbis Bay, there are to be unavoidable disruptions for those living and travelling near to Newquay Airport (which is a five minute drive from the hotel). High levels of security are in place to ensure that everyone remains safe. This will mean that you may be asked to pass through security access points and show two forms of identification.
To manage the traffic around Cornwall Airport Newquay, a number of changes and diversions will be in place. The below map will help you to plan your journeys around these disruptions, as it details road closures, diversions, parking restrictions and information about local services – please take a note of the green diversion route.
You’ll be pleased to hear that we are very much open for guests during this time, and non-residents are welcome to join us for day spa, lunch, brunch and afternoon tea – all of which require booking in advance.
