All are welcome to join our wild food foraging walk taking place throughout spring. Red Stuff & Wild Chef Adam Clark will take you on a one to two hour tour of the beautiful coastlines and hedgerows around the hotel.
Adam will show you how to identify at least 10 different edibles and give tips on how to pick, prepare and use them. He will also teach you how to forage safely, sustainably and legally.
Walks are always on a Saturday and leave at 10am. Free for guests or £5 otherwise – all are welcome for a fun and friendly session.
Dates are: 22nd and 29th March, 26th April, 3rd May (with optional wild cookery demo and lunch afterwards), 14th and 21st June.
Walking boots or wellies are a good idea, and you might want to bring a notebook and pen, a camera, a bottle of water and some waterproof clothing, as well as a bag or basket for your foraged edibles. Please note that the terrain makes this walk unsuitable for children under five and pushchairs.
