A better night’s sleep guaranteed for October half term

By October 17, 2014Families

Calling all sleep-deprived parents: we are offering guests a guaranteed better night’s sleep at Bedruthan over October half term – or their money back!

Yes, you really did read that right, and it’s all down to the magical powers of massage.

Although often dismissed as a luxury, massage is integral to well-being in many parts of the world. And it works brilliantly as a natural sleep aid that can help exhausted mums and dads make the most of what little – and often interrupted – sleep they do get.

So, to help our guests catch up on some quality rest over half term, we’re opening the Bedruthan Spa in the evenings so parents can grab some ‘me’ time while the children are safely tucked up in bed (our baby listeners will be on hand) or at one of our evening clubs.

What’s more, we’re so confident about the relaxing effects of our ila massage and its benefits for getting off to sleep that we’re offering a money-back guarantee.

Bedruthan Spa manager Steph Crosby said: “Parents can find it hard to get off to sleep because they’re often on high alert, waiting for the next wake up call from their baby or toddler.

“I guarantee parents who find it hard to drift off will enjoy a better night after an ila treatment taken after 7pm. Although we can’t guarantee your baby will!

“And if a guest doesn’t enjoy a better night’s sleep, I would happily give them their money back!”

The treatment in question is a hot coconut massage that has antibacterial, immune-boosting, warming properties.

“There’s something beautifully indulgent about it,” says Steph. “We use a poultice filled with coconut. It’s heated, which allows the juices to flow out of the poultice and these are gently pushed into the skin.

“The result is an intensely nourishing and nurturing skin and body experience.”

So soothe your soul with an ila treatment.

The spa will remain open until 9pm and booking is essential.
