New Year Schedule
Enjoy great food...then relax by the fire.
...grownups can party too. Get sandcastle building... ...or chill out in the spa.
Friday 30th December - Arrival Day
Our magician will welcome you at the door with magic
and spells to ensure you have an enchanting New Year.
If you arrive in time for lunch, don’t miss the amazing
food at Cafe Indigo, and the equally amazing view. Once
you’re settled in, tuck into afternoon tea in the ballroom
and relax while the children burn off some energy at our
circus skills workshop. At 6pm it’s ‘Roll up! Roll up!’ time
as the Big Top comes to Bedruthan and the children
demonstrate their new skills.
With tired offspring safely tucked up in bed or at one of
our children’s clubs, join us for wine tasting with a local
expert followed by dinner. Evening entertainment
includes a swing band and a just-for-fun poker game.
Saturday 31st December
The countdown begins. Start the day with our
lantern-making workshop so you can take part in our
New Year’s Eve Candlelight Parade later in the day—all
ages welcome. While our chef helps the children whip up
some festive treats, you can indulge in some pre-party
spa pampering, enjoy lunch in Cafe Indigo or relax quietly
by the fire with your afternoon tea.
Our youngest guests (the under sevens) get the New
Year’s Eve party started in the afternoon with some fancy
dress fun, games and a scrummy tea. Don’t miss the Candlelight
Parade. A fancy dress party and disco for the
7 to 12s follows - strictly no parents allowed! If the
children want to stay up late, book them into our
children’s clubs where the fun carries on until 12.30am,
allowing you to enjoy our special gala night for
grown-ups.
Your celebrations begin with a champagne reception
followed by an exquisite dinner and carefully selected
wines. Then put on your dancing shoes and welcome in
the New Year. Back by popular demand is sensational
singer Aloma and her band. End the night with a bang and
see in the New Year watching our stunning
Firework display.
Sunday 1st January 2012: Happy New Year!!
Enjoy a welcome lie-in on us. Our dedicated team can
collect the children from your room free of charge, take
them to breakfast and entertain them until 10am. Phew!
Get 2011 off to a bracing start by joining us for our New
Year’s Day swim. Go on, we dare you! If you’re willing to
brave the water, we will reward you with a warming hot
chocolate on the beach afterwards.
Get the whole family together, work as a team and take
part in our coastal food foraging treasure hunt. Then
relax with popcorn and a movie or two. A fabulous puppet-
making workshop will keep the little ones happy
while you enjoy afternoon tea and—if needed—rest your
weary head.
Don’t miss an evening of jesting genius courtesy maestro of mirth, Tank Sherman.
Extend the fun...
Don’t let the children miss Billy Wiz, who will be
showcasing his hilarious magic and spectacular balloon
show on Wednesday, 29th December. How about extending
your stay to arrive on the 29th, or stay a little
while longer to enjoy Sunday, 2nd January 2012? We can
offer you amazing prices from just £80 per adult for dinner
bed & breakfast!
On the 2nd January the fun continues with an end of year
quiz to get your brain buzzing and more fun for the kids
with Mr Wacky. Book early to avoid disappointment.
Please note in the event of unforeseen circumstances we
reserve the right to alter the programme.
