'Obby 'Oss ' Day, Padstow 1st May

The Day celebrates the Celtic festival of Beltane - The spring festival dedicated to the return of the Celtic sun god Bel, that causes the crops to grow and the hours of daylight to lengthen.

International Mail Voice Choir Festival, Truro 3rd - 7th May

Daphne du Maurier Arts and Literature Festival 11th - 20th May

Music and comedy feature strongly in this year's Festival. In the middle of a busy national tour of the musical Shout!, Claire Sweeney finds time to come to Fowey, with her five-piece band.

Royal Cornwall Show, Wadebridge 7th - 9th June

Find time to sit by the main ring, ice cream in hand and watch a world of entertainment.  Visitor, residents and farmers are all welcome at this special show.

RNAS Culdrose Air Day, Culdrose, Helston 11th - 14th July

The annual Culdrose Air Day is a must for anyone interested in aviation, but with numerous other displays, visiting aircraft and entertainment, there is something for everyone.

50th St Endellion Summer Music Festival, Port Issac 29th July

Under the leadership of Artistic Director Richard Hickox, the St Endellion Music Festival brings together a wide range of exciting musicians from all over the world for its 50th Summer Festival.

Ripcurl Boardmasters, Newquay 4th-10th August  

The countdown to Europe's biggest surf, skate and music festival has officially begun. The Rip Curl Boardmasters in association with Relentless Energy Drink will return for a 27th year.

Wadebridge Folk Weekend 22nd-25th August

The Wadebridge Hobgoblin Weekend of Music will run over bank holiday weekend at the end of August from 22nd-25th.

Funchal 500 Tall Ships Regatta Falmouth

10th-13th September

Falmouth will play host to this special tall ships race marking the 500th anniversary of the founding of the port of Funchal in Madeira.
